Meachers Global Logistics runs a secure warehousing operation in Southampton. The facility is ideally placed in Nursling at the heart of the UK’s South Coast shipping and transport infrastructure; access to the UK motorway network via the M27 is just 5 minutes away. The port of Southampton, reckoned to be one of the busiest in the UK, with its Western and Eastern docks is also a short 10 minute road journey away.
The facility provides bonded warehousing, for the storage of goods prior to them being cleared by HM Revenue and Customs, or for the deferment of duty for a period of time. It is also AEO accredited, under the Authorised Economic Operator regime.
The Southampton facility is superbly specified with in excess of 120,000 square feet of storage, and approximately 12,000 rack spaces- un-racked spaces are also available. A computer managed 24×7 inventory control system is provided, with client access via a web application, for complete visibility and peace of mind.
