As thought leaders in global logistics and as one of UK’s leading independent logistics companies, Meachers Global Logistics has always been actively involved with many industry related groups and associations.

Senior members of the management team have held and currently retain senior positions on many of the industries most respected and influential committees and boards. Notable roles include:

BIFA – Past National Chairman and current Board member
The British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the trade association for UK-registered companies engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, air, road, rail and sea. BIFA has around 1400 corporate members, known generally as freight forwarders, which offer a wide range of services within these various modes.

CLECAT - President
CLECAT is the European association for forwarding, transport, logistics and customs services. It represents the interests of 22 national organisations of European freight related service providers. Multinational, medium and small freight forwarders and Customs agents are all part of CLECAT’s structures, thus making it the most representative structure of its kind.

Meachers Global Logistics is a member of the Road Hauliers Association (RHA).  The RHA provides dedicated campaigning, advice, information and business services specially tailored for the haulage industry.  The company is also an affiliate of the UK Warehouse Association (UKWA).  The UKWA is Britain’s leading trade organisation representing the third party logistics (3PL) sector. The Association has over 650 member companies operating nearly 10 million square metres of warehousing from around 2000 depots across the UK.
